NVIDIA GPUs: Powering innovation in design, engineering, marketing and sales
The Manufacturing track at GTC takes place on March 17-18, 2015 and will provide an exciting forum for in-depth exploration of how NVIDIA's GPUs are driving innovation across automotive, aerospace, apparel, architecture-engineering-construction, and consumer products companies. Sessions will highlight real-world examples from actual customers discussing and demonstrating technology trends, such as remote visualization, photorealistic ray-tracing, virtualizing CAD software, and the impact of mobile platforms.
Speakers at the 2014 event included:
Benoit Deschamps and Alain Gonzalez who described how PSA Peugeot Citroen's IT department improved Human Machine Interface Design workflow with tools, efficient workflows and hardware for designing, evaluating and simulating HMI in new car models.
Safir Bellali, Design Director at Vans, a VF Company, highlighted how the iconic lifestyle and action sports brand is embracing virtual technology and digital tools to redefine the way its products are designed, developed, and marketed while preserving the authenticity of its heritage. See the interview on NVIDIA Solutions for Manufacturing YouTube channel.
Daniel Simon, whose career encompasses design work at Volkswagen's advanced studio in Spain and the role of Senior Designer for Bugatti Automobiles, took attendees on a visual journey of automotive visualization and concept design entirely rendered on NVIDIA GPUs to explore a racing world as it could have existed between 1916 and 2615 from his latest book 'The Timeless Racer'.
